We have a pretty strict "Visiting Policy". The reason for this, is to protect our puppies from catching deadly diseases like “Parvo Virus”. In the past we allowed visitors without many restrictions and this caused our puppies to get sick from catching Parvo. People can carry and spread this deadly virus on the soles of their shoes, even on their car tires! It’s such a hardy virus, that it can live on an inanimate object for 6 months, or in the soil for many years! The people buying our puppies will appreciate that we keep the puppies safe, to ensure they won't be bringing home a sick puppy.

Our current "Visiting Policy" is as follows, in order to be able to come see our puppies you must first make a deposit, please refer to our “Deposit Policy” page for pertaining information. Once you have made a deposit, then you may come over on the "Take Home Date" listed on the web site, for the litter you chose your deposit to be applied towards. When you come over, you will only be allowed to see the puppies that are 8 weeks old and older. We do not show puppies that are under 8 weeks of age, because they haven’t been vaccinated yet. So coming over prior to that date is not an option.

Requiring a deposit prior to allowing visitors keeps foot traffic to a minimum and also weeds out puppy shoppers (Looky- Loos), which are the most likely to be spreading germs from shopping around at different places. And please keep in mind this is also our home, so keeping foot traffic to a minimum coincides with having some family time as well. If we have any puppies that are older than 8 weeks, left over from a litter, then we would at that time allow you to come see those particular puppies without having to make a deposit first. But the people that have made deposits will have priority, and those will be the people that can come over on the Take Home Date. Each litter has it's own Take Home Date listed on the web site. Anyone that hasn’t made a deposit will have to wait until after the Take Home Date to see if any puppies are still available (left over/not sold) and then come to see them. Prior to making a deposit, please make sure you read our “Deposit Policy” page first.

The people coming on the Take Home Date, will be given a specific appointment time to be here. Times are set in the same order deposits are received and each buyer will be allotted their own 1 hour time slot. For out of state buyer's, the appointment will be done by phone and email. "Everyone" will be given their own individual appointment time. Please refer to our "Deposit Policy" page for more specific details.

For anyone coming to see puppies 8 weeks or older without a prior deposit, you will need to set up a specific appointment day and time with us, no drop-ins will be allowed!
